Scientific Games opens new facility for UK National Lottery
Scientific Games has recently detailed its accomplishments to support Allwyn Entertainment in operating the UK’s National Lottery.
One of the most significant milestones reported by the company was the opening of a brand-new logistics facility in Warrington, which will serve partner organizations throughout the UK that distribute the national lottery’s tickets. The new property features an area of more than 8500 square meters, along with cutting-edge technology that Scientific Games will be utilizing to enhance the efficiency of the national lottery’s supply chain.
The provider mentioned that the facility is one of the first of many deliverables it will be providing Allwyn Entertainment with as part of its collaboration with the operator. Some of the key upcoming developments of the contract include the transformation of the national lottery’s backend systems to Scientific Games’ Symphony offering, along with the installation of more than 40 thousand land-based lottery terminals throughout the country.
Moreover, the development firm will also provide the national lottery with its catalog of instant gambling products, which are developed by both Scientific Games’ in-house and third-party partner studios, along with a new digital interface solution to further enhance the national lottery’s operations.
