Lottoland expands into Australia & Sweden on Play Store

Lottoland, the well-known lotto operator, has announced that its app has officially launched on the Google Play Store in Sweden and Australia, meaning that all players in these areas will now be able to access the app.

The launch of the app follows on from Google’s decision to modify some of its access guidelines and allow downloadable gambling apps in more areas across the globe.

At the moment, Sweden is the most active market when it comes to Android downloads as it averages about five downloads per user each month. All players who download this app will be able to bet on the end results of draws, check out the most recent results and in the case of a winning bet, they can win money and even possibly become a millionaire!

CEO of Lottoland, Nigel Birrell, commented on the launch and said:

“We are very excited that the Lottoland app is becoming more readily available to Android users and anyone using the Google Play Store. A significant percentage of the population own Android smartphones and a huge 85 per cent of the app market is maintained by Android, so this is definitely a reason to celebrate. We know that a large portion of Lottoland users find and communicate with us via mobile devices and we can’t wait to see how these new audiences in Sweden and Australia get on.”

Starting from the 1st of March 2021, Google expanded its gambling terms for the Play Store, as it permitted real money app downloads across many new countries including the USA, Mexico, Spain, Norway, Japan, Australia, Canada, Finland, Colombia and others…
