Caesars and New York Mets in an exclusive partnership
Caesars Entertainment has struck a long-term deal with the New York Mets, under which it becomes the official sports betting partner of the popular baseball team.
The collaboration will pave the way for inclusion into the operator’s VIP program along with promotional prospects at Met events and matches.
Chris Holdren, co-president of Caesars Digital, stated his delight about the opening of their sportsbook, noting that NYC is a significant milestone for them after their successful debut in Jan.
New York recently formally launched its sports betting sector, with Caesars and eight other operators granted a license to operate in the state.
Holdren went on to add:
“The Mets’ audience is among the most devoted in baseball, and our collaboration allows us to treat them like Caesars.”
Aside from the aforementioned, a major step will be the opening of Citi Field’s 13,000 sq. ft. sportsbook, which the iGaming operator will debut later this year. The sportsbook will have a multi-leveled dining area as well as outside terrace seats.
The NYC-based American professional baseball club is one of the state ‘s two main league clubs.
