Online sportsbooks in Michigan report $4bln GGR
PlayMichigan, owned by Catena Media, reports that Michigan’s live sportsbooks drew around $4bln GGR in wagering throughout 2021.
State casinos secured over $500mln in sports wagering for the 2nd successive month and over $120mln GGR in live casino. Based on PlayMichigan’s report, Michigan is the third state after NJ and Pennsylvania that generate over $1bln GGR per year.
According to the Gaming Control Board of Michigan, mobile sports wagering in Michigan hit $485 million only throughout December. As for total gambling, the GGR in December reached $35mln.
DraftKings is leading the list of operators with its GGR of $120mln in live gambling.
