MGA CEO Carl Brincat to leave the authority
The Chief Executive of the MGA, Carl Brincat, has recently announced that he will be leaving the regulator in the near future.
Having worked at the MGA for close to a decade, with the last three years of his tenure being as the CEO, Brincat has been able to contribute significantly to the regulator’s growth. Following his resignation announcement, the authority will start accepting applications for his successor over the coming week to ensure a smooth transitionary period.
The MGA’s Chair, Ryan Pace, commented:
“Carl has contributed significantly to the development of the MGA, and we are quite grateful for his efforts over his almost a decade-long tenure and we’re confident in the robust foundation he will be leaving behind after he resigns.”
The outgoing CEO, Carl Brincat, remarked:
“Leaving my position at the MGA was not an easy decision to make, as the past 9 years have been full of exciting experiences, including the past 3 years during which I had the opportunity to lead the regulatory authority as the CEO. I am quite proud of what we were able to achieve and I am eager to continue delivering on our objectives over the upcoming few months before my resignation.”
Brincat will be leaving his position through the expiration of his contract with the MGA, which will take place on the 25th of January next year.
