Allwyn more than doubles Q2 revenue in 2023
Allwyn Entertainment has recently published its latest financial report for 2023’s Q2, which showcases a healthy period of growth for the firm.
The first figure mentioned by the report is the company’s total revenue, which surpassed 2 billion euros in the period, growing by around 115% from the 953 million euro revenue generated in the second quarter of last year. This figure includes the revenue generated by the company’s recent acquisitions, without which Allwyn’s revenue experienced a 7% organic increase.
This led to a just over 50% increase in net revenue from 602 million euros to 906 million euros, along with a 35% increase in the company’s adjusted EBITDA figure, which went from 283 million euros in Q2 2022 to 381 million euros in the same period this year.
These increases were also reflected in Allwyn’s H1 2023 performance results. In the first six months of the year, the company’s total revenue increased by just under 100%, going from 1.87 billion euros to 3.7 billion euros. Its net revenue experienced an increase of 45%, going from 1.18 billion euros to 1.71 billion euros, while the firm’s adjusted EBITDA figure increased by 32% from 553 million euros to 727 million euros.
Lastly, the report also mentioned a few noteworthy events that took place in the first half of the year, with the company’s acquisition of Camelot being the most significant one. Through this purchase, Allwyn will soon be taking over the operations of the UK’s national lottery, solidifying itself as a leader in the country’s gambling market.
