Novibet’s CCO to leave the post
Ahead of the merger with SPAC, Y. Xirotyris the COO of Novibet, is leaving his position.
The COO has its important part in organizing a few commercial agreements with the Greek betting and gambling group, a remarkable event was the merger deal with SPAC Artemis Strategic Investment Corporation (Artemis).
If the merger takes place Novibet is going to earn a 650 million dollars listing on the NASDAQ global exchange in New York, as the brand is looking for ways to strengthen its position in the betting industry in the United States – a goal that, as detailed by Xiortiris, he worked hard on.
“I want to inform you that I made the decision to leave my position of Chief Commercial Officer. As I am bringing this chapter to an end I want to thank all the people that I worked with.”
commented Xiortiris.
Yannis became part of Novibet back in 2021, but before that he worked for Sportingbet and PokerStars. At some point in 2020 he also served as International Development Director at Flutter.
During his time in Novibet, the ex CCO worked on the Artemis merger, he also oversaw the brand’s release in Ireland and the contract with Big Bola in Mexico.
It is also known that sometimes the company faced challenges such as giving up the licenses in the United Kingdom, even though the brand has been actively operating in the UK for the past 8 years.
