SiGMA Virtual Expo safely hosts over 100 exhibitors

SiGMA Europe and AIBC Virtual Expos launch with record breaking attendance, providing a cure to the industry’s events sector. Everyone’s lives have changed since the beginning of the year, and SiGMA was almost doomed to never do what it does best, which is creating networks for people through the company’s well-known and loved physical events. Thankfully, the team worked hard to make sure they go through with the events and adapt to the situation at hand, therefore converting the events from physical to virtual.

This year SiGMA hosted a number of digital and virtual summits all of which were quite successful, with the latest, SiGMA Europe, beating them all with a record number of 6,500 delegates, 4,500 total active people with 1,485 maximum concurrent viewers. It has since become the biggest virtual expo of the year, with founder and CEO Eman Pulis describing how the conference was “full of content, full of great speakers, top of the line exhibitors, and great networking.”

Moreover, the summit also featured a careers fair which continues to encourage the development and growth of the gaming industry by fostering the acquisition of a wider talent pool and cultivating technical skills, and of course, the virtual expo, featuring 110 exhibitors in a beautifully designed simulation of exhibits thanks to which one could virtually walk through the networking lounge to recreate that final social touch that is at the core of SiGMA’s events. Various topics of conversation were spoken of, with most of them falling under categories such as Regulation, Affiliation & Marketing, Suppliers, Market Trends, Sportsbook, Data in Payments, and Edge of Technology for Games for SiGMA; and for AIBC, Regulation & Compliance and FinTech and AI.

And to top it all off, a large number of incredible speakers were present and shared their wisdom and expertise on SiGMA’s platform, educating and connecting people further and further, some notable names of which being; Akon, who needs no introduction, Minister for Tourism in Malta Hon. Clayton Bartolo, Singular CCO Rob Dowling, EveryMatrix CEO Ebbe Groes, Gaming Malta COO Ivan Filletti, Tech.mt CEO Dana Farrugia, Altenar COO Dinos Stramnomitis, and Betby CCO Chris Nikolopoulos.

“Africa’s future and the whole of the development world know that there’s a coin that can enhance the unbanked and unconnected – this is the beginning of a real balanced world.” Said Akon, co-founder of Akoin.

“People need to connect with something, from a mental health perspective this is a crazy time and something that helps everyone is that familiarity and that connection” added CEO of Pinnacle Sports Paris Smith.
